The Markqo Journal
Practical guidance, thoughtful perspectives and honest conversations for teachers, leaders and anyone working to make education better.
Why we’re building thisEditorial pillars
Feedback, consistency, moderation, evidence and better assessment practice.
Practical ideas that support teaching, learning and day-to-day classroom life.
Honest approaches to protecting teachers’ time, energy and professional sustainability.
Departments, teams, professional trust and the systems that shape school life.
How teachers design learning, make decisions and respond to different contexts.
Clear-eyed discussion of where technology helps, where it fails and what educators should demand from it.
Where we’ll begin
Our first articles will focus on marking, teacher workload and the responsible use of AI in education—the areas closest to why Markqo exists. From there, the Journal will grow into a broader publication covering the full reality of teaching and education.
Our editorial promise
The Journal will prioritise original experience, practical value and honest educational thinking. Search visibility matters, but thin SEO content does not help teachers and will not define the publication.
The product and the Journal share one purpose: helping educators work with greater clarity, confidence and control over their time.
